Holistic Learning
NCCER’s curriculum offers online, self-paced learning as well as traditional classroom-style learning options. Training credentials are based on knowledge and hands-on, performance-based testing to ensure individuals of all ages and skill levels will be able to apply what they’ve learned in the field. Created by industry subject matter experts and taught by NCCER-certified instructors, learners master the knowledge and skills needed to perform in today’s construction industry.
Journey-Level Assessments
NCCER’s National Craft Assessment and Certification Program (NCACP) offers over 50 knowledge- and performance-based assessments. Knowledge assessments provide training prescriptions allowing for focused remediation prior to re-testing. Performance Verifications are a comprehensive set of craft-specific tasks the individual must perform safely and successfully under the supervision of a performance evaluator. Those able to pass both a written assessment and performance verification for a craft receive an NCCER certification.
