April Master Trainer Instructor Certification Training Program

A Master Trainer is an individual certified in accordance with NCCER's Instructor Certification Training Program (ICTP) for Master Trainers. A Master Trainer is the only person authorized to teach the ICTP for Craft Instructors and certify Craft Instructors.
The Master Trainer course is four days of instruction. A continental breakfast is provided at 7:30 a.m. each day and lunch is provided at noon. Class ends at 5 p.m
Day 1 covers introduction to NCCER training, how learning occurs and communication for learning. There is a group exercise and a breakout session to help prepare for presentation on Day 4.
Day 2 covers leadership and group dynamics, administration and classroom management, and using the NCCER curricula. There is a group exercise and a breakout session to help prepare for presentation on Day 4.
Day 3 covers teaching strategies, instructor aids and evaluation techniques. There is a group exercise and a breakout session to help prepare for presentations on Day 4.
Day 4 covers presentations. Each participant will give a ten-minute presentation to the class.
