In order to offer NCCER credentials, organizations (including companies, schools, colleges and various other entities) must become accredited by NCCER. There are various types of accreditation and the process to become accredited varies depending on what NCCER program the organization would like to offer.

For instance, if a company wants to offer training, they apply to become an NCCER Accredited Training Sponsor. If they would like to offer only assessments, they apply to become an Accredited Assessment Center.

Funding Craft Training

Cents-per-hour funding is a proven method for funding a contractor or association’s training program that has existed in the construction industry for many years. NCCER maintains a cents-per-hour training fund for contractors to voluntarily set aside funds for training and workforce development efforts. Learn more about how your organization can benefit from this established fund by participating in the National Training Service Agreement.
