If your organization will be applying for both Assessment Center and Training Sponsor accreditation, the Assessment Center application should be completed first.
The following is a list of requirements that must be met in order to become an Accredited Training Sponsor:
NCCER will review the documents submitted and will approve the application or request more information. If approved to move forward, the application fee can be paid within the electronic application by credit card.
Following payment, the organization will:
Following completion of the Master Trainer Instructor Certification Training Program, the Sponsor Representative will complete the Self-Assessment portion of the electronic application and submit the following:
NCCER will review the Self-Assessment and photos. If approved, the organization will move into Candidate status as an Accredited Training Sponsor.
Organization will remain in Candidate status until the initial audit is closed. During Candidate status an organization can:
For an audit to take place, the training program must be actively using curriculum and testing.
NCCER will contact the organization to schedule the initial audit. All non-conformances from the audit must be resolved for NCCER to close the audit and grant official accreditation.
All intellectual property rights for any portion of the NCCER curriculum are exclusively that of NCCER. Any use of any portion of the NCCER curriculum without the written consent of NCCER is expressly prohibited. STOP! If your organization does not meet and agree to the above eligibility criteria, becoming an NCCER Accredited Training Sponsor may not be the best fit for your organization. Contact the NCCER workforce development department to determine how your organization can best fit into the NCCER accreditation processes.
